Firmware upgrade

The upgrade of the firmware is possible via the Bluebot application. If new firmware is detected, upgrade it according to the message in the Bluebot application. The battery level must be ≥50% during the firmware upgrade, before starting the upgrade place the device on the charging station if necessary. The robot must be connected to Wi-Fi to perform the upgrade.

Looking for which type of firmware is running on your Blaupunkt Bluebot robot vacuum cleaner?

Go to the Bluebot application > select your robot > ‘’More’’ > ‘More info‘’. Here you will find on which firmware your robot is running.

Untill when will the software be supported?

We guarantee our consumers that we will support our robots with software updates for at least 2 years from the product launch. However, this does not mean that we will stop supporting them after 2 years, e.g. the Blaupunkt Bluebot XBOOST has had its last update in January 2022 (introduction November 2019). The support depends on several factors, such as the robot’s specifications and the ability of the software or hardware components to carry out the update.
